Toward the end of “Waiting for ‘Superman’,” the Harlem education miracle worker Geoffrey Canada captures the anger, frustration and heartbreak evoked by the documentary when he says, “We have the tools to fix the system, but we aren’t using them.” That’s what should make you seethe as you leave the theater, the realization that we know how to save the children trapped in failure factories, but don’t have the political will to act.  DetNews

I couldn’t agree more. It’s not about just unions or teachers or administrators. It’s about lack of will. Time to get ‘er done.
