Written by Heather Shumaker, the softcover book is laced with anecdotes of the key personalities and organizations that preserved one of Michigan’s oldest and largest nature preserves.  News-Review
Books can be purchased by calling the Grass River office at 231-533-8314 or at Horizon Books, downtown Traverse City. Author Heather Shumaker and longtime Grass River activist Warren Studley will be at Horizon Books Tuesday, Dec. 21, for a public book signing and meet ‘n greet gathering from 4 to 6 p.m.  News-Review
