Learning a trade

Even with increased emphasis on the need for a college education, there are still some jobs available right out of high school. But you need to hone your skills in high school to get these jobs and you need to be open to post-high-school education.

[Apprentice welder Jake] Robinson said he plans to go to college to study welding once he graduates, and hopes to eventually get a master’s degree.  MLive
